From my poems on Greece, I present to everyone who reads this, a great myth.
A tale of love . A tale of life . A tale worlds apart .
The Gifts of Zeus, The Treasures of Europe
The Gifts of Zeus, the Treasures of Europe,
the bright and shine that brought people new hope,
the bards of the myths sing out their glory,
a myth so great, it cannot be etched in a story.
Once in the faraway continent of contrasts, *1
there lived a princess with beauty no one could replace,
the daughter of the great king Tyre Agenor,
the princess of Phoenicia was the harbinger of grace.
Once while she sat by the coast plucking flowers,
Zeus happened to spot her from his castle's towers,
the moment he set his eyes upon the soul so lively,
his heart burned in passion, his eyes guiding him blindly.
Zeus, the mighty turned into a white bull,
and waded through the seas to where the Phoenicians ruled.
He reached the banks and cast the net of his charm,
and Europe was another addition to the queen's farm.
On the glistening hump of the graceful bull,
rode Europe, the queen, with the moon shining full,
their love had no boundaries, the gods say,
but was it truly love, the stars question every day.
The shade of the Platanus gave rise to the lights, *2
Minos, Rhadamanthys and Sarpedon, the sons of the Might, *3
there lived a happy kingdom with the princes, Europe and Zeus,
little did they know that fate had once more played its ruse.
The vision of the stars came true to every bit,
Zeus fell out of love and his duty, he quit.
He left Europe and her love for him,
the throne that awaited, was without the queen grim.
Even though their love had ended in their hearts,
Zeus wanted to give her a life worlds apart,
So he gave her hand in marriage to the ruler of the stars,
Asterion, the good king, earned his battle scars.
But before she left with her new life ahead
Zeus gave her three gifts for the tears she shed,
with her sons and Asterion, she travelled to Crete,
the kingdom that awaited the family to be completed.
Talos the robot, created by Daedalus the architect,
the guardian of Crete, with wings of power blessed,
the shine of bronze warning invaders dark,
the first gift of Zeus, ended by Jason and his ark.
The great hound that never missed its prey,
Laelaps the dog, was the second hope of the day.
Sent to hunt the Teumessian fox,
Canis Major is where the telescope locks. *4
The third and final, a sparkling javelin,
a spear that never missed its mark,
the gifts of Zeus together emerged,
to lead the future away from the dark.
As time flew by and kings came down,
Europe decided to hide this legacy from the crown.
And as kings came back to avenge their deaths,
Europe was long gone, with her treasures hidden from theft.
But not all was lost, not all was found,
the Enigmas of Europe, set of covered ground,
the art of culture leads to paths of no return,
Curse or boon, the Taleteller tells those who yearn.
The bards of the myths sing out their glory,
a myth so great, it cannot be etched in a story,
the bright and shine that brought people new hope,
the Gifts of Zeus, the Treasures of Europe.

A.K.A .. The Taleteller
Explanations
*1 - Asia is considered the continent of contrasts due to the mixed livelihood of the many cultures, traditions and legacies.
*2 - The platanus is a species of plane trees. This place is considered special as this is where Zeus brought Europa and revealed his true form. (from a bull to the god)
*3 - The three sons of Zeus and Europa. They are considered the Judges of the Underworld.
*4 - The Teumessian fox who was to be hunted, could never be caught, and Laelaps was a hound who would never miss its prey. In this paradoxical chase, the worlds were disturbed and reality started tearing apart, due to which, Zeus turned both into stone to stop them. They were given a place among the constellations and Laelaps is considered Canis Major. Thus, the line.
Goodbye till next time!!!
